Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) offers a unique blend of adventure and relaxation. On calm, windless days, it becomes a perfect way to unwind, letting you disconnect from the daily grind and fully immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings. Gliding across the water, you can explore the coastline at your own pace, soaking in the beauty of nature.
The gentle sound of the water softly hitting the bottom of the board adds to the experience, creating a calming rhythm that enhances the sense of serenity. SUP allows you to be fully present, enjoying each moment as you drift along the tranquil waters.

Beginner SUP lessons take place right in front of our beachside center, an ideal location for learning. We start by focusing on balance, guiding you from your knees to standing on your feet, and teaching you how to paddle efficiently to maximize speed and stability. If you’re interested in learning to catch waves, we’ll move on to the technique of wave-catching, identifying the optimum point to catch a wave. We’ll also work on your positioning and stance to help you stay on the wave longer, focusing on catching green waves and using the paddle to turn.
For intermediate or advanced paddlers, lessons are typically held at Second Beach, where the waves are bigger and more powerful, depending on the conditions. Each lesson is tailored to your skill level, and you’ll meet with the instructor beforehand to discuss your experience. Together, you’ll determine the focus and objectives for the session, ensuring the lesson aligns with your personal goals.
For SUP rental we have a variety of boards to rent to suit your size and level. From beginner through to advanced wave rider boards. The paddles are easily adjustable to suit your height as well. We partner with Fanatic for most of our SUP gear.
