The next few weeks is going to be tough for a lot of us, as countries shut down their borders and travel becomes more difficult with some of us having to stay inside.

We wanted to firstly reassure you that the waves and the ocean are not going anywhere so if you have to postpone your holiday there will be another time. Secondly to say that whether you believe in the coronavirus or you believe one of the many conspiracy theories this is all immaterial for now. For now, we have to join together virtually or from a distance to fight this and get the virus under control so we can travel freely again.

Someone gave me some good advice, they told me that we need to all pretend we have the virus as by doing this we will behave in the appropriate way to stop it in its tracks. So please let’s work together by staying at home and avoiding contact with people to get back to normality as soon as possible.

Think about yourselves, think about your community and think about all the small businesses (us included) and even the large co-operations that are all going to suffer hugely the longer this goes on for.

To help motivate and keep you focused we are going to publish a little video every day that focuses on 5 exercises to keep you surf or kite ready which you can do at home. The first one will be with lovely Momo showing you 5 awesome stretch exercises specifically for surfing.
